Re-Opening LA | 5.13.2020

On Friday, May 15th, Louisiana will begin Phase 1 of re-opening our state’s economy. Certain businesses – like restaurants, churches, and gyms – will be allowed to re-open at 25% capacity. Though this is a welcome step, we still have a long way to go in getting our state’s economy back on track.

As we consider what the process of fully re-opening our state will look like, I want to ensure that Louisianans feel as safe as they return to work and their daily lives. In order to do that, it’s important that I hear your thoughts.

If you could, please take a moment to respond to the Re-Opening
Louisiana Survey.

In hearing your thoughts, I’ll be able to ensure that I continue to fight for the best solutions for Louisianans and all Americans.

As always, we can never forget our health care workers who have continued to fight tirelessly on the front lines of this pandemic. We cannot thank these workers enough for all they have done and continue to do to protect our communities and families during this time.

I hope you’ll continue to stay safe as we work through this challenging time together.

Thank you,

Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D.
