Fighting for Northeast LA

“Senator Bill Cassidy has been a tireless advocate for improving healthcare, rebuilding our infrastructure and making Louisiana a better place to live, work and raise a family.  The Senator is our best person to continue to lead Louisiana into the future.  Dr. Cassidy stands up for Louisiana and its constituents.  I look forward to continuing to support his efforts to serve the great state of Louisiana.”

– Rep Michael Echols (Monroe, LA)

Infrastructure

Cassidy has helped secure needed infrastructure improvements that will bring an economic boost to Northeast Louisiana, including improvements to Lake Providence Harbor, the Monroe Street Corridor Project in Ruston, and upgrades to important railways.

Health care

As a physician, Cassidy understands the urgent importance of access to medical care and has fought for funding that would expand care for thousands of pediatric cardiac patients in Northeast Louisiana and for the St. Francis Medical Center helipad, ensuring the hospital is able to guarantee timely emergency function. Cassidy has also worked to expand the availability of telemedicine to give more of Louisiana’s rural residents quick access to affordable health care.

First Responders

Cassidy has fought to support public safety in Northeast Louisiana. He has helped fire departments in Ruston and Delhi secure federal grants to improve operations and safety, and assisted in the West Carroll Sheriff’s Office securing needed patrol vehicles to ensure the safety of their community.
